PETA — like many other ‘animal saving endeavors’ has been in business since the 1970’s. The numbers of unwanted and homeless animals has only continued to grow.
The frustrating part of this, for legitimate rescuers, is that things could have and should have changed by now. Literally: Had the funds provided them been properly utilized, there would be no homeless or unwanted animals.
